Video was taken on September 4, 2010 in between 90 minute swim sections. This is a fabulous way to dive into history - a very unique event! About 1 hour south of Atlanta, GA or 2.5 hours south of Canton, GA. After taking a dip in the 88 degree spring fed waters of this historic pool used to treat polio victims, including FDR, visit the Little White House where he died in 1945, the fisheries, Dowdell's Knob, where FDR sat for hours and BBQ'd, and the covered bridge in Woodbury about 10 minutes north of the Little White House. If you do all the above activities, it will fill a very delightful day, even enjoy a picnic break at Dowdell's Knob!
