Shame on us! It seems inconceivable that American troops have to rely on supplies funded not through the government but by the people--family, friends, and groups. With that in mind, this video is an acoustic guitar solo accompanied by a presentation of photographs taken by others in Iraq. The music and lyrics are by John Vanko whose son is in the military. The pictures were assembled and animated by me, Barbara Beck-Ramsay. My brother-in-law is a USMC colonel. Chances are you know, or know of, someone who is, or was, serving in Iraq. Did you ever dream there would come a time when you might be asked to buy body armor?
