A slow moving low pressure, mixing with Monsoon moisture will make for a wet day in Central, Eastern and Southern Utah. Some flash flooding is likely, especially in San Juan County and from Eastern Kane, Eastern Garfield to Wayne Counties. Some flash flooding is also possible in the Arches/Moab area and over the San Rafael Swell, southward into Boulder Mountain. A completely different story is in store for the Wasatch Front and Cache Valley. Sunshine mixed with a few clouds and temperatures in the upper 80's...along with dry weather will prevail today, tomorrow and through the weekend. In fact, by the weekend, Southern Utah should dry out and it will be safer to head into the canyon and normally dry gulches.
