The Storybook
The 3 parts are my input and inspiration to the world to describe this perfect imperfection by Nicolas Jaar "The Great Hope" (no pressure on U Nico!!!) and special guest DJs on the "Soul Clap Advertures of Podcast" Mix Mothership (Episode 52, not to be mixed up with Area 51 but: who knows? (-:)) as we travel through the House Music, Techno Music, Soul, Jazz and Dub Music Galaxy.

The Samples and Targets
might bring me/you more access and understanding in/to the depth of Nicolas Jaar's artificial impetus. In German we call this strategic plan "work-immanently".(The same kind of approach I already established in my DJ Shadow blog http://alive-wolfgangfm.blogspot.de/)
So let's have present fun together with Nicolas Jaar::

13:07 is the beginning of an unbelievable and wonderful sequence: it's taken from William Shakespeare's play "Hamlet" (Act IV Sc. V, Lines 29-39) and called "The Ophelia's Mad Songs" (but I did not find out the singer yet. I guess it's Klaus Nomi, who did a few Shakespeare things, but actually it's not proved!)
If you're inspired by "Ophelia's Mad Song" you will find more details here:

14:15 "He wrote me that only one film had been capable of portraying impossible memory—insane memory" Is a dialogue from Alfred Hitchcock's movie "Vertigo" (remember the name of my vid picture "The Vertigo Annual Report" ((-:) But as you know, there is no coincidence!
