With 5 gold medals at the Vancouver Paralympic Winter Games in 2010, Lauren Woolstencroft claimed the record of the most gold medals won at a single Paralympic Games. She is an alpine skier who won the gold in the Giant Slalom, Slalom, Super-G, Downhill, and Super Combined. This helped Canada set a new record for the most gold medals won at any Paralympic Winter Games. Now living in North Vancouver, Lauren says "competing in sport has taught her about goal setting and being organized."
