Since its founding in 1881, Newton-Wellesley Hospital has benefitted greatly from bequests and other estate gifts provided by the generosity of the community it serves. Legacy gifts are critical to ensuring Newton-Wellesley's future. When you make a legacy gift, you not only support the Hospital's mission and play a pivotal role in its future, but you also elevate Newton-Wellesley Hospital to family member status.

F. Gorham Brigham, Jr. has been a long-time supporter of Newton-Wellesley, always giving in honor of one of the many physicians who care for him and his family. One gift at a time, Gorham has supported Newton-Wellesley, honored his doctors, and inspired his family and others to do the same.

Two years ago, after 40 years of monthly giving, Gorham decided to honor his caregivers in yet another way by including Newton-Wellesley Hospital in his will. In doing so, he has inspired his son, F. Gorham Brigham III, and his daughter-in-law, Susan Brigham, to also include the Hospital in their estate plans. To have three family members from two generations include the Hospital in their will is extraordinary. We are most grateful to the Brigham Family for their wonderful support and trust in Newton-Wellesley Hospital and hope that their commitment will inspire other families in the community to create a legacy of giving.
