Russell Schnell, NOAA atmospheric scientist and co-recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize and winner of NOAA's 2011 Albritton Outstanding Science Communicator Award, is deputy director of the GlobalMonitoring Division of NOAA's Earth System Research Laboratory.
