all I know is everyone I know around me is pulling there last dollars and buying only what we need we are all much more broke than 2008, 2008 was nothing we all went out on a regular basis this time around we are dried out, we use to go out every weekend parks, Restaurants, movies.... I have not went to the movies in about 4 months, like I said everyone who I knew before had what they needed to live good, now its just sad
The world would be a better place w/o US$, it is awkwardly unfair that a beneficiary gets to issue the world reserve currency! The idea of a group of politically sovereign states using one fiat is ridiculous (euro). Its simple,no metals,reserve...every sovereign country big or small issues its own fiat, all currencies (~200) are traded in regulated markets,a country's local currency is used to buy products of that country.every country is free to adopt inflationary policy supply/demand takes care.

I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country. Thomas Jefferson
