Follow our senior staff nurse’s story as she shares her needle stick injury (NSI) sustained after an everyday situation having worked for many years in the health care profession. Listen as she describes the incident and the impact that a needle stick injury can have on all aspects of life.......The video takes you on an emotional journey that has faced and faces many healthcare workers daily. ....The unknown risk when an NSI is sustained; the waiting, the impact on family and work colleagues has never been expressed in such a way before. Often these aspects are overlooked and never understood until it happens. The video has been made in the hope that others will learn from her situation without undergoing the same stressful and emotional ordeal.
