BBC Radio Leeds covered Saudha's festival in Seven Arts, Leeds on 14 and 15 September 2013. The leading interpreters of Indian classical music Chandra Chakraborty, Kamalbir Nandra (violin), Shahbaz Hussain, Sumana Basu (Ghazal), Dipanjan Guha (Sitar) and young Cello player Gemma Irving as well as actor and impassioned reciters Erik Schelander, Leesa Gazi, Apu Chowdhuryare performing in the concert and showcase the spectrum of the many forms of Indian classical and semi-classical music e.g. kheyal, Thumri, Dadra, Toppa, Ghazal etc. Award winning poet Siobhan Macmahon, contemporary young English poet Rob Smith, poet Amina Dorothy Weston, poet Scott Farquharson, Urdu poet Ishtiaque Mir, Mehjabin Ghajal Ansari, Bengali poet Delower Hussain monju, T M Ahmed Kaysher and young Somali poet Hassan Abdiulahi are reading their own poems in both days on half-an-hour independent poetry session.
