An artist, a painter and a sculptor, Satish Gupta's talk told the story of his inspiring life through the magnificent works of art that he had created. His philosophy, focusing on the principles of Zen, matched his attire as in he explained the nitty-gritty of his massive sculptors and beautiful paintings of Lord Buddha in his speech.
A versatile artist, Satish Gupta is a painter, sculptor, poet, writer, printmaker, skilled draftsman, muralist, designer, calligrapher and ceramicist all in one. Winning the Sanskriti award at an early stage in his career, his work, that comes in a fine blend of his skills in multi tasking and a deep engagement with mysticism and Zen spirit has been exhibited in more than 33 solo shows at important art galleries within the country and abroad including those in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Calcutta, London, Paris, Altea, Murcia, Amsterdam, San Francisco, New York , Washington and Melbourne besides numerous group exhibitions in various parts of the world.
