"The future of our children is unknown, no school, no life. We live like prisoners," says Ahmad. He and his children are among families sheltering in abandoned kindergarten after fleeing the violence in Mosul. "I hope our kids can go back to their school, their families and the place they come from," he says, "and that this crisis comes to an end, God willing."
