This is a program I wrote in the last week to generate fractals. The fractal is generated in real time using CUDA, and then displayed using OpenGL. This way, the data doesn't have to leave the GPU, meaning I can get greater performance, even on a laptop GPU.
The fractal is rendered at 1600x1200, with the maximum number of iterations set to 100.
At a few points the video appears laggy, this is because the fractal is generated from a seed which is controlled by the mouse. Currently, I'm only getting discrete mouse locations with OpenGL, and so therefore I only get discrete seed values, so the generated fractal will jump around too.
