Basic Fighter Maneuvers #2 introduces what geometry is in BFM. Understanding this is very important for more complicated concepts in future lessons. It covers the following and how they apply in a dogfight when offensive or defensive:

- The geometry of your position relative to the bandit in terms of Range, Aspect Angle, Heading Crossing Angle, and Rate of Closure
- Concept of the 3/9 Line
- Attacking a bandit using "Pursuit Curves" and how to practice using them to reinforce these concepts.
- Visual cues of Pursuit Curves and Line of Sight and what they mean
