"KUMPETA MILOMBE" is a song by the artist Mufrika speaking of a time when young and economically disadvantaged men and women from the eastern province of Zambia immigrated to a mining town across the border into Mozambique seeking financial freedom. In a mysterious out come, they were never seen again.

This song asks the question "What happened to our your women and men that left for Kumpeta Milombe".

The song was produced by legendary music producer and founder of Sling Beats Music, Chali "Bravo" Mulalami.

Born on 13th February 1983, Edward Mwanza known professionally as Mufrika (or African) is a song writer and composer. Mufrika plays an African traditional musical instrument, taught to him by his father, called a Kalimba. The Kalimba is a type of plucked idiophone (or thumb piano with 14 keys 6 upper and 8 lower, and a calabash at the bottom) common throughout Sub-Sahara.

Kumpeta Milombe is the first single from his upcoming album slated for release in mid year 2019.
