Panelist Bios:

Louise is the Associate Dean of Science at Western University. Her husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer-related dementia at the age of 64. At the time, their children were 9 and 14.

Cheryl became a caregiver when her mother went through a mental health crisis. Her mother is otherwise fully independent. Cheryl is an only child, with a young family and a career. She currently lives 3 hours from her mother.

Linda is a retired Secondary School Administrator, whose husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer disease in 2009. She cared for him in their home until he was admitted to Long Term Care in 2016. She was also the sole caregiver for her mother, who died at the age of 96, and her sister, who died of complications of numerous illnesses, including mental health issues.
