Neofascisti italiani commemorano secondo il loro costume i militanti di destra radicale caduti in Italia durante gli "anni di piombo" ( anni settanta e principio degli anni '80 ).
La commemorazione si tiene ogni anno a Roma il 07 gennaio, anniversario della strage di Acca Larentia, e vede la partecipazione di migliaia di militanti e simpatizzanti della destra radicale provenienti da tutta Italia.
La fiaccolata parte da Piazza San Giovanni e giunge fino al luogo dove furono falciati a colpi di pistola Franco Bigonzetti e Francesco Ciavatta, giovanissimi militanti del Fronte della Gioventù. Qui si conclude con un triplice grido collettivo di "Presente!", con il quale i neofascisti intendono rimarcare la presenza spirituale della vittime, che continuerebbero a supportare i vivi in Terra nella battaglia contro le forze del Caos.
Il grido è accompagnato dal saluto romano, che in questo caso assume più un valore spirituale che politico. Esso infatti rappresenta secondo i neofascisti " un saluto al cielo, alle altezze, e al sole, simbolo della vittoria della Luce e del Bene" ( definizione di C. Z. Codreanu, politico fascista rumeno, riferimento di spicco per molti neofascisti italiani ).
Durante gli anni di piombo, furono decine i militanti neofascisti appartenenti a varie organizzazioni uccisi in agguati di matrice comunista o in conflitti a fuoco con le forze dell'ordine.

Italian neo-fascists commemorate, according to their customs, the far-right militants killed in Italy during the "years of lead" (the seventies and the early 80's).
The commemoration is held every year in Rome on January 7, the anniversary of the massacre of "Acca Larentia", and sees the participation of thousands of militants and sympathizers of the radical right from all over Italy.
The torchlight procession starts at Piazza San Giovanni and gets to the place where were killed in gun shots Franco Bighonzetti e Francesco Ciavatta, young militants of the Youth Front. Here the procession ends with a triple collective cry of "Present!", with which the neo-fascists want to emphasize the spiritual presence of the victims, who continue to support the living on Earth in the battle against the forces of Chaos.
The cry is accompanied by the Roman salute, which in this case takes on more a spiritual than political meaning. Infact, it is seen by the neo-fascists like "a salute to the sky, the heights, and the sun, a symbol of the victory of Light and the Good" (definition of CZ Codreanu, Romanian fascist politician, a leading reference for many Italian neo-fascists).
During the "years of lead", the neo-fascist militants belonging to various organizations were killed in large numbers, during communist ambushes or in firefights with security forces of the State.
