In this video, Mahalo expert Sean Hewitt explains how to set up web filters in Windows Live Family Safety.

Windows Live Family Safety - Web Filters

Web Filtering inside Windows Live Family Safety is a fairly basic feature.

Once you log in to manage an account, you'll see this feature toward the top under Web filtering. Click on this link and make sure you have Turn on web filtering selected at the top. You can choose to turn it off if you wish. You'll still receive reports, but an account will be allowed to visit any website.

Also, there is a feature toward the bottom under File downloads where you can choose whether or not you wish to allow kids to download files online. Choose this option at your discretion as well.

Make sure to click Save at the bottom when you're finished selecting your options.
