http://www.operaphila.org - The Opera Company of Philadelphia opens the 2012-2013 Season with an art-inspired production of Puccini's blockbuster La bohème, featuring over two dozen of the world's most celebrated masterpieces from The Barnes Foundation and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, performed September 28, 30 mat, October 3, 5, & 7 mat at the Academy of Music, with a FREE, HD broadcast of the opera on Independence Mall on Saturday, October 6 at 7:00 p.m. This citywide public event will bring the live performance to a vast HD movie screen at Independence National Historical Park, one of our nation's most iconic spaces.
