Yeah, because people were so much healthier before the computer era...
Ali Tolga Özbaş
Yeah, before most medicines and vaccines found and millions of people died because of plagues. http://listverse.com/2009/01/18/top-10-worst-plagues-in-history/ Computers help science in several department. Technology can be misused but it doesn't make technology evil.

you mean before TV era and before we started putting chemicals in our food...

what have you been using since 1999? what versions of Linux or mac have you been using. I switched to Linux in 2010 & dual boot to win for gaming ONLY due to lack of top games on Linux

Bug-wise, I don't agree with you. SOME distributions are extremely stable, stable to the extent in which NASA, some of the most powerful supercomputers, and most servers use them. I agree with you with the rest, I find myself forced to use Windows because of the lack of good productivity software for linux. Heck, I even have to use windows for basic word processing.
Amine LAALAOUI
GNU/Linux has potential but it's still half-baked. Productivity software is is just not there yet. Bugs here and there on a daily basis makes you wanna throw your PC out of the window. I think the open source community has to acknowledge this and be honest about it in order to make the platform better and suitable for business.

Valve called linux a "future of gaming". Case closed.

Yeah, Because every windows user actually pay for there upgrade's, and its not like alot of linux users weren't forced to pay for windows when they got there computer, and linux users defiantly dont give money to developers of linux! And Linux isn't easier and better looking then windows or mac, even though it is!...

Red Hat, nearly 6000 employees and 1 billion revenue. Clearly - anti money communists, retards and parasites who do nothing but set up server systems for companies and don't do they part in life.

My hardware works fine. The problems have been purely software, partly from OEMs assuming everyone runs Windows, and partly due to buggy software in the repos for months until someone feels like packaging up a new version. Also distros are wonky in what they pick to include/omit by default. For those who are prepared to do "research" (a.k.a. dick around), it is POSSIBLE to set up a nice, streamlined system, but the overall non-geek experience is still years behind Windows.

WTF?? Really you have tried it. Then it's not gnu/linux issue it's your HARDWARE. Before you install linux you need to do some research. To work 100% Even my crapy envy 6-61010us sleekbooks is super buggy. Windows 7 also upgraded to 8 and both had horrible blue tooth issue's. Blue screen.
