I actually originally planned on fighting joancarlo's Jean Grey back around #674, but he was too similar to the base back then.
Now, when I initially tested joancarlo's Jean, it was just a messier Jean by Comedy Haha. Fast forward about 2 months when he actually edited stuff. Oh boy. Large portrait is too small by 1px on all sides. Objects spawned by stand Z come in oddly and have priorities. The punch itself also does damage, adding to the madness. No sound on D+Y. F+mash X for an infinite. Standard mugen sounds on stand B. QCF+2P does 300, 100 too much. QCF+2K does up to 320, 120 too much. Faceless during QCF+2K, BG music exists too. Pushing opponents looks really messed up. QCB+Z, mash X: 440-480 damage. Up to 500 using A instead, but uses grab sounds. QCF+P misses at point blank. What voice is that on QCF+K? Up close use of it goes from 120 (weak) to 210 (strong). All versions of QCB+K do 60, have priorities, are too fast, and are jerky. I really don't get the pics during QCB+2P, it does 420, 100 too much for a level 2, and purple 2K2UM glass shatter doesn't fit. QCF+2K hits the other side of the screen. No hitsparks on QCB+K. Because of QCB+Z, 3 bars can do 980-1000. Winpose to casual clothes is not smooth. A and B are too fast. No hitsparks on QCB+P. QCB+2P does no chip damage. Throw heart intro is not smooth. Fly in intro is not smooth. Voices overall are not consistent. Debug on KOing opponent with anything but a super. MvC1 Hyper Combo Finish voice on CotA background. Cyclops intro and winpose are not smooth. Many voices are too low. Her hair changes somehow in Cyclops winpose and one intro. Cyclops' shading is messed up. Jean lacks shading in places. Guitar solo on QCB+2P doesn't fit. Her AI will float a lot and she can't be hit down most of the time. Her Molecular Shield imitation seems to be unable to KO. Comboing is totally off and she can do things that really should not be possible. Damage and CLSNs need to be redone. This is pretty bad.
Now, Hero's Gill is another (yes another) beta I get to beta test. Well, he's pretty damn fun. There is a typo in YingYang.act. Stuck in place and invisible when running left (run sprites are not done, Tmasta is currently spriting them). One line of debug when being KO'd after Resurrection. One line of debug about state 5150. Sound loops if Seraphic Wing KOs. Debug flood if Seraphic Wing KOs. Damage is a bit high in spots, but remember, Gill was a boss in the source, and compared to his damage values in SF3, this is pretty tame. I'm really liking this.
