Lose weight with coffee diet - the coffee diet basically revolve around the idea of coffee being an effective weight gain suppressant. The simple reason as to why many people gain weight is that they take in excess calories than they should so as to satisfy their cravings. In this context, the coffee diet serves as an ideal low calorie and safe agent in our daily routines so as to satisfy our cravings and prevent excess calorie consumption. Unfortunately, few realize the wholesome goodness or benefits about coffee and merely take coffee for breakfast.

For a start, we need to dispel a common baseless myth about coffee being an unhealthy substance to our body. When taken in moderation, the substance coffee alone is harmless. What makes it a bit unhealthy is when we start adding all kinds of substances to make it taste 'better'. People want the effect associated with drinking coffee, but not the taste. The problem with these extra
substances is that they add extra calories and fats into the coffee. Thus, the myth about coffee being unhealthy to the body starts to perpetuate and become prevalent.

So what should a coffee lover do? The answer is simple; refrain from putting in the additive substances such as sugar, cream, etc.

Coffee as a standalone substance has no fats and contains caffeine which acts as an appetite suppressant which helps to suppress any food cravings you might develop at different times of the day.

People who put down coffee dieting are terribly misinformed. There may be risks associated with consuming too much coffee, but then again there are risks with doing anything in excess. Having said that, the amount of coffee drank should be moderated.

Preferably, 3-5 cups of coffee a day at regular intervals should suffice. Anything more than that amount might start to constitute a health risk. Most importantly, remember to brush your teeth as coffee can cause unsightly stains!
