I would like to draw your attention to an incident that occcured at around 7pm this evening at the Bricklayers Arms Gyratory in Southwark. One of your drivers was driving recklessly across the Bricklayers arms Gyratory and hit a cyclist, knocking him from his bike, and subsequently tried to blame the cyclist. A video of the incident has been uploaded to youtube http://youtu.be/P_Pl039D2fs I would be interested to hear your comments on the conduct of your driver.

Dear Kristian
Thank you for the video footage relating to the accident involving one of our vans. We have started an internal investigation into the incident, and reported the accident to our accident management company. We view all incidences of this nature in a serious light and we will take all necessary remedial action to ensure that this is not repeated.

Once again I thank you for your video as it will help us not only get to the root cause of this accident but we will use it as a training aid for our other drivers to try prevent accidents of this nature happening in the future.

I'm glad to hear you are taking this very seriously and are investigating, I hope you won't mind sharing the outcome?

It is disappointing that driver's need additional training on top of their driving licences in order to use the roads safely but I applaud your efforts to encourage road safety by providing further training.

Kind Regards,
Kristian
