This movie was cute but it was also horrible. Its not a remake of the original movie Sparkle....its a new CHANGED version which makes no damn sense. The mother wasnt a singer of any sort. The oldest sister/lead singer died......but not in the new movie. This new Sparkle is bullshit. But the actresses playing the sisters did amazing. Whitney Houston should NOT have sang anything. Her voice was gone since when she did that "I look to you" album. But other than that.....it was ok to watch.
