Palmer Luckey on Kick Starting Virtual Reality with Oculus Rift

At Siggraph 2012 ElectricTV had the pleasure of meeting with Palmer Luckey, a rising tech star and Nate Mitchell, VP of Product at Oculus. This is Part 1 of our un-edited video interview with Palmer as he shares some thoughts and feelings regarding the contributors to his KickStarter project, virtual reality and more.

Not shown in this video, We did try on Palmer's Oculus Rift HMD prototype. The peripheral and full field of vision is extremely impressive. Also the 3d immersive and interactive sensations were also surprisingly quite pleasurable.

Palmers Kickstarter page states "Oculus Rift is a new virtual reality (VR) headset designed specifically for video games that will change the way you think about gaming forever." We agree, it's definetly the real deal!
