Utah's Entertainment & Choice Awards ... here with Marshall Moore and Zoe Golightly. Marshall won the Contribution to the Arts Award. American Idol's David Archuleta, Matrix series co-star Daniel Bernhardt and Utah's very own Donny Osmond are only a few of the celebrities who will illuminate Utah's 2011 Entertainment & Choice Awards on May 20th in Salt Lake City.

"This is a Hollywood awards show combined with the hospitality of Utah," show producer Doug Osmond said.

The Entertainment and Choice Awards (ECA) were created to spotlight those companies and individuals who have contributed to Utah's entertainment and business communities. Nominees will be honored from a variety of areas including film, television, radio, community contribution and athletics. It's anticipated this black tie dinner, comedy, music and awards event will draw more than 1,200 influential attendees who share the same goal of contributing to and expanding Utah's entertainment and business infrastructure.

Notable guests include; Olympic Gold Medal Winner Derek Parra, NBA Star Shawn Bradley, former Governor Norm Bangerter, author Richard Paul Evans, theater and music star Debbie Gibson, So You Think You Can Dance stars, Ryan and Ashleigh DiLello, sports radio personality Melinda Prince, the Utah Jazz Bear, pro-racer Aaron Oliveraz, rap artist TJ Fredette, television news icon Dick Nourse and many more!

Considered the "Golden Globes" of Utah, the ECA show provides a unique spotlight of recognition for Utah's entertainment industry and everyone is invited to attend this evening of dinner, comedy, music and red carpet awards event.

The Wayshower - Independent film filmed throughout Utah, will return to Park City to screen with the Park City Film Music Festival -- Sunday May 22

Los Angeles, CA (Scott J-R Productions) May 18, 2011 /- The Wayshower, co-written and co-directed by NY Times #1 Bestselling author John-Roger, DSS and actor Jsu Garcia (Atlas Shrugged, Che, Along Came Polly), will screen
for official selection with the Park City Film Music Festival this Sunday night at 5PM. The Wayshower was filmed throughout Utah in 2010 and will return to screen for many of the Utah cast and crew that worked on the film and celebrate their successful inclusion into the festival.
John-Roger and Jsu Garcia have also been nominated for the 'Contribution to the Arts' Award at the Utah Choice Awards, nominated alongside Robert Redford, Stephen R. Covey, Zac Efron, and the Utah Film Commission's Director Marshall Moore. The Awards take place this Friday night May 20th at the Salt Palace. John-Roger is a Utah native and filmed both his last feature films in Utah. He has a prolific career as an author, including the #1 NY Times Bestseller "Do It! Let's Get Off Our Buts", three NY Times Bestsellers and has published over 55 titles, and will release the book 'The Wayshower' in June 2011.

The Wayshower stars Eric Roberts (Dark Knight), Peter Stormare (Fargo), Jsu Garcia (Along Came Polly), Evan Hart (Law Abiding Citizen), Leigh Taylor-Young (Sunset Beach), with Academy Award Nominee Sally Kirkland (JFK) and great upcoming Utah talent including Tod Huntington (The Maldonado Mircale) and Sebastian Barr.
