5months user here, -points -power button not functioning (press hard and few times only work, great disappointment here...) -gps is not functioning (the location is jumpy, inacurate, due to slow gps recognize and unable to lock on the signal) +points +battery life, single charge a day, worst situation come to 14% with super heavy use +back camera is OK, front camera is just average or tad below +overall very usable in any situation, apps, function +DUAL SIMs! (one of the key points i have THL 5000 over Mi3) +price +double tap wake phone(not even apple have this function, yet almost all cn phone got it, LOL) +FULL accessories i like dual sim phones, 1st was Samsung Grand, then Lenovo S820, then S960, now THL 5000 i put Lenovo and THL on tie, like them, Samsung Grand is UNUSABLE SLOW SLUG life muchh better when i ditch the Grand

Gary, did you use the charger it came with and charged it over night? Im now using my laptop to charge mine, though I should pull out a 500ma charger instead... As plugging it into the laptop when it's on, it opens a whole damn screen, for transferring files... I wonder if I can just have this as a notification instead? But ive not found a way. 500ma -- then the battery is charged without extra heat, and quick-charging methods does shorten the life of the battery. And heat shortens the life as well. That is, it drains the maximum capacity of the battery. But with such a huge battery, you can still have it just around 60% (as long as you can easily charge it at any time). And the recommended storage percentage for lithium batteries is 40-50%, so this will hopefully make it last longer as well.

thank you, i am using thl 100s, and 5 days after I got from mail and I dropped into soup.. and I quickly lift out..of cause, the phone shuts down automaticly, because I was still in china so I tucked in one of the small mobile phone repair tech near by, (after I took out the battery and wipe, dry did not work) , that guys took apart everthing and clean them with alcohal...and put back with 50 rmb , and it is working since then... I am happy with the price...,(I do not play game, but it getts little hot if you play minecraft for one hour...), GPS navigation is not as good as ...and little hot if you use web based video chat...for an hour... apart form that... I am happy...

3 or 4 days is abit far fetched. when I first got it it would last about two days but I discharged it all the way to 0 quite a few times as thought it was good for the battery. now it lasts a day can make it longer if I don't play games etc. GPS is a let down too because its not correct it shows you quite a few feet away from where you actually are. overall I give it 9/10 cause I got it for £110

Been using mine for about 8 months. It fell from my pocket once (landed with the back on a tile floor) and ever since the screen is showing signs of ghosting. So yeah, it's rather sensitive I would say. Apart from that it still functions properly and the battery still lasts as long as it did when I first bought it. Idk if I would recommend it though. The screen thingy really pissed me off.. I mean, it was the first time that anything had happened to it and it wasn't even that bad of an accident..

Hi Gary! Wonder what you would recommend? * The THL 5000. * Doogee Valencia 2 Y100Pro that only take 30 min to charge te battery up to 70%. * Doogee HomTom with the 6250mAh battery. By the way how many hours does it take to charge up the THL 5000?

i think flashing some good ROM from Needrom may solve your battery problem. i may be mistaken but still worth trying as Needrom has many good ones for the THL 5000
