fucking dumbus what's bad is that it was his first ab, never got back to majors, could have died right there and then, and the pitcher didn't feel bad at all about it. The blood puddle is pretty bad tonight

CRUSHER KJ you obviously haven't recovered if you think it's worse than having an artery in your neck sliced open

I think we can all agree that Clint Malarchuk's sliced artery should have been number 1.

you would think a severed artery would be the worst injury

Tbey all survived. A broken leg is not anywhere close to a cut jugular in a neck. He was an extra 20 seconds from death. Easilyyyy the worst on here. Easily a candidate for worst in the history of sports worldwide
Well he survived

Ok why are broken legs so high up on this list when a fastball to the head could kill someone and the sliced artery in the neck is lethal. A broken leg isn't as serious as something that could kill you.

+Jack Cecil The actual cause of death was a severed vertebral artery.
+Jack Cecil Just below the helmet behind the ear. He was swinging at a ball coming straight for his face and missed. Common , but this was a freak accident. It hit him as he was completing his stroke so his face was turned away from  the ball. He would have been 26 years old, three days later.

+Carol Cromwell I think he was talking in third person saying the he as a football player died. He was still alive, but his football career was dead and over.

*slowly raises hand*
How is Malarchuk only #5?  The guy nearly died! 1/4mm in the wrong direction, and he WOULD have died.
For sure, not even close. I don't know how he didn't die. A miracle
Jim Malven
Don't worry, kids, number 9 was just part of the show.

that shit's why you don't script (called "booking" in wrestle-speak) big, tall dudes like vicious doing moves off the top rope like that
Jeremy Russell
+Swerve Clan That's what I said to him. He just didn't listen to me.

Football requires no talent what so ever lol. Just a bunch of oversized pigs fetching pig skin.

+Sgt.Skywalker250 Bloody oath they do. Especially when you're getting on in years. They keep everything in place. You'll be amazed at how that support can relieve some of the pain from hitting bad potholes etc.
+Warren552011 Never thought about getting one. They probably do help
