Isaac, soon to be 12 years old, talks about what it is like to have Autism. He has been wanting to do this video for a long time, but I have been hesitant, yet I see this strong desire in him to do something to help people understand him better. His desire is to inform people who don't have Autism about Autism, but most important he wants you to know that people with Autism are just like everyone else-they desire to have friends and to be valued. Isaac embraces the fact that he is special because he is made in the image of God as is everyone else and that alone should be a sufficient reason to value one another, disability or not. Yet regardless of whether he is accepted by others, it is sweet to see Isaac clinging to God and finding His confidence in God's full acceptance, value, and love of him. :-)
