Turns out we are not sure what pepo has done to his leg, as nothing can be seen on his scans. However, we are still giving him a good 4 months gentle work to slowly build him up which means my eventing season has finished with him now.He will be completely fine hopefully and the injury shouldn't affect him in the future apart from the fact I don't think I'll run him on solid ground and will space the events out to every other week.
He hates being in the stable, and is destroying everything and chewing everything, even me!!! But being Pepo, he's still an absolute saint and is as 'calm' as I could ask him to be when I take him for walks, which we both really enjoy :)

I am now enjoying some time off riding and just spending time with him. I have my exams this year and I think this summer I'm just going to go and stay with a few friends and go on holiday etc, and try and stop putting pressure on myself, and let him recover properly!
However, if the opportunity for an owner or a ride comes up (so I could event again) I would gratefully receive the offer, so PLEASE if you know anyone email me!! as I miss eventing so much as even though Pepo comes first, I am missing out on so many brilliant opportunities now this year and eventing is my life (other than my gorgeous Pepo) So if you or someone you know wants their horse to be part of an incredibly exciting and rewarding sport (which i can involve you as much or as little as you would like) Please visit : http://cfheventing.webs.com/ or send me a message!

This video just has loads of randoms, all my best piccies of him and some of the best events ever. Pepo has now been placed at every novice we have done unaff and afil (Crown farm -6th Hambleden-10th and Aston -6th) all with double clears. Next year he's going to be absolutely flawless and the dressage will be good again so fingers crossed, as he's a true star to lots of people especially me. I don't know what I would do without this horse, I'm very VERY lucky to have such a perfect horse, and not only him, but all the amazing people who support me and him such as my mum and deer friends (which I love greatly and can't be thankful enough for.)
Thanks for reading long essay, if you have any questions don't hesitate to drop me a message.
