Annie Hall is a 1977 American romantic comedy film directed by Woody Allen and is one of Allen's most popular films.

Chris plays Duane Hall, the mentally disturbed brother of the movie's title character. In this short but memorable scene, he talks of his thoughts on committing suicide by driving into oncoming traffic.

Chris has suggested that he was given his role in The Deer Hunter thanks to this short scene.
