I'm a survivor of family violence and incest. This year we will host our prevention outreach campaign on the same day I was almost killed on Friday, Sept, 6, 1974. Since family violence back then was so taboo my only hope was turning my porch light on to signal the neighbors to call the police when I was being abused. Remembering that light of hope, this year's prevention campaign theme message is entitled, I'm Keeping My Light On. Our FREE Therapeutic Community Training is scheduled for Friday, September 6, 2013. This FREE therapeutic community awareness training will focus on prevention about the increasing statistics of silent violence, teens/dating violence, family generational/spiritual incest, along with intervention strategies for issues such as depression, suicidal thoughts, demonic oppression/possession, and mental illness problems that are overtaking men, women, teens, and even clergy today from all ages, races, and religions. HELP US! SHARE THIS VIDEO! On Sept. 6th, between 3am until 11pm TURN YOUR PORCH LIGHT ON, Church Light, or Workplace Light! YOUR LIGHT will shed light of hope for those who did not make it out ALIVE and demonstrate that you will not tolerate abuse or violence in your family, church, workplace, or community!
