This old video (around 2004) shows some early experimenting with what was then a new programming paradigm, Pervasive-interactive-Programming (PiP), designed to enable non-programmers to program complex Internet-of-things and smart-home applications. For those people working in Computer Science in the early millennium, you may recognize some familiar faces here in the Essex University iSpace (a smart home).
