The main theme for TEDxStetsonU 2014 is "Significance in Action: Creating Learning, Innovation and Happiness".

Natalie Faria is a Senior at Stetson University with a double major in Political Science and Religious Studies. She enjoys volunteering with children with chronic and terminal illnesses, and after she graduates in May, she will begin a year of service with City Year Orlando.

The title of her talk is "Stories of Joy," where she recounts stories in which by creating happiness in the lives of others through service, she has been able to create happiness in her own life.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
