I'm going to discuss the differences between
weight control, or maintaining your
And also kinda weight loss, and changing your body.
And I, discussed this with you cuz' I
think it's a very important
point that often times I see people don't
and so, when it comes to maintenance,
it's kind of a beautiful thing.
If you're maintaining where you are at, well that
means to me, it's essentially your body weight,
is in kind of a narrow range, lets
just say a five pound range.
And, the beauty of maintaining your body
or your health is that you don't have to exercise
that intensely, right? You can essentially
work out three times a week
as long as it's sufficiently intense,
as long as you're eating decently,
and you'll be totally fine, you'll be able
to maintain your personal fitness and how you look
and feel. And so, what I mean by eating decently,
you're essentially eating roughly
the number of calories that you burn each day.
So let's just say you're a 180 pound guy,
you're working out three times a week,
you have a sedentary job, you might be burning
less than 2500 calories,
if you eat 2500 calories, you should be fine,
you shouldn't be gaining or losing any weight,
just stay the same.
Our bodies are homeostatic organisms
that are resistant to change,
which is one reason it's so hard to change them.
Which brings me to the next topic, which is, you know
kinda weight loss or changing your body.
And so, it's extremely hard
to change your body because they
are resistant to change.
It takes, in my opinion, it takes a lot of your time
your effort and and it requires
number one, or requires a goal, number two,
and it requires number three,
a reason that goal's very compelling to you.
Again, those three things I think are important
if you're looking to change your body
and you really have to make it a priority in your life
so as you're watching this video
where are you at? Are you maintaining your physique
and your health which is totally cool,
that's kinda where I've been for a long time
or are you putting in a lot of your time and effort
and making it a priority in your life
to change your body? Whether it's building muscle,
losing fat, you know,
improve your cardio capacity, whatever it may be,
I hope this kind of concept we discussed with

you are right now,
and essentially where you are going in the future.
