I am cautiously optimistic about this setup here. The specific setup is simple, from a combo, finish with d.5C jump cancel (slight delay) j.D j.B (opponent techs) d.6C. If the opponent doesn't tech, you can start doing beefier combos off of an earlier bluebeat. Also, d.6B (reload guns) wait 2B 6C can punish opponents who don't tech at all (true reset back into chain revolver Oki).
The d.6C is meaty. Opponents can't mash out or jump out on wakeup. Opponents without reversals are forced to block or counter-assault.
The video focuses on the tech situation. Opponents only have one choice of tech: the Emergency Tech. So I go through 3 basic mixups, Overhead, Low, and Guard Break. d.6C has an insane amount of blockstun, so much so that the Overhead is a "true blockstring" on normal block... the opponent will be caught standing if he holds downback. There are a couple more advanced setups, such as opponent doing instant-block chicken guard and wakeup backdash. These can also be punished. Wakeup backdash will be caught by d.6C d.2D 623D. This will also catch jump-back blockers on normal block, and jump-back blockers who don't barrier on instant block. Instant Block d.6C jump back will be beaten by d.6C d.6A d.6C into combo.
As usual with Oki strategies, wakeup reversals tend to beat it. Jin's 623C doesn't have enough range however, he'll have to use 623D to escape.
Despite the ironic name, I really am making a proposal here to the general BB community and Noel players. Please, criticize and discuss this idea, find flaws and make comments on them. Its up to us to make Noel better than bottom/low tier.
