“Designing for systemic change: Towards a design society”
What does it take to build a powerful design ecosystem in an entire country? As new CEO of the Danish Design Centre (DDC), Christians mission is to project Denmarks design legacy into the 21st century and create new spaces and opportunities for all dimensions of design, including a strong emphasis on service design. Whereas service design is rapidly being adopted across a range of sectors and in government, unique value can be created by systematically experimenting with new and more challenging applications of design. Christian will share how the DDC as an institution takes a designerly approach to strengthen the capability of designers, businesses and public organizations to gain the most from service design.
