A second black eye this week for Sporting KC. The Kansas City Star reports that the soccer club has not delivered on a big commitment it made when it took advantage of $230 million in state and local tax subsidies when it built its stadium in Wyandotte County: No inner-city soccer fields the team pledged to construct in 2010 and no 18-field youth soccer complex that was supposed to be completed last December.
