For more then five years now humans have been studying the star Gliese 581, a red dwarf star located about 20 light years from earth in the constellation Libra and discovering earth like planets in its solar system. Last September the discovery of Gliese 581 g was announced by the Lick-Carnegie Exoplanet Survey, and touted as the most earth like planet discovered to date, a planet where humans could possibly live.
What was not known then however and only discovered by Radio Fay Polls Observatory only weeks ago was that we are not alone. The Radio Fay Polls telescope picked up signs of a small, asteroid like object heading directly at earth coming from Gliese 581g at the beginning of March and have determined that it is NOT a natural object. We can now report that moments ago, just after midnight UTC on the first of April 2011, our planet has been visited by creatures not of this world, and they are not friendly.
