My favorite Miss aloha hula of all time. Nobody will ever be able to top her performance in 2001. Nobody has still today. I wish that one day i will be able to talk to her. I actually sat a few rows behind her at Merrie Monarch in 06. But she was sitting with Kunewa Mook. Soo0o0o0 i didnt want to disturb them. But hopefully one day.
"Mele Aloha No Kaulana-i-ka-poki'i E Keaomelemele"
tells the story of Keaomelemele, who passes on her knowledge of hula and chant to her beloved younger sister Kaulana-i-ka-poki'i. The two sisters then perform to the great interest and delight of others.
