Hi everyone, this is my rendition of Apotheosis and I Was Born For This from the Grammy nominated video game soundtrack Journey composed by Austin Wintory. As soon as I heard some of the pieces I fell in love with the soundtrack and wanted to make a video out of some of the songs. The entire soundtrack is absolutely amazing and is available on iTunes. The game itself is wonderful too, I highly recommend it. Landon Donoho was the videographer and also directed and edited the video. He recently started a YouTube channel of his own so I definitely encourage you to check it out. He's extremely talented and was very fun and easy to work with!

I arranged and created the orchestral backtrack for this song. I was able to get in touch with the composer, Austin Wintory, and he was kind enough to share some scores with me to help with my arrangement and I'm very grateful for his help! This was definitely my most ambitious video yet and a lot of people helped make this possible and I'm very thankful for their efforts :) This was my first time doing a true cosplay video so you'll have to let me know what you think ;)

Special thanks to Andrea Carroll and Rachel Stolberg for providing the beautiful costume. They were so generous in letting us use it for the video. Please check out their website to see more of their work and for more Journey Cosplay at:

Also special thanks to my friend Megan Gilliam and my husband Jarred for helping with the filming, especially since it was freezing out there, couldn't have done it without you!
