The Mer People do not have fish scales. They have tails like a dolphin and are a beautiful being. Not scary and ugly. They have been hidden because of all the beautiful cetaceans that have already been killed in places like "The Cove" in Japan. I believe they will appear when disclosure finally happens and my inner knowing tells me that isn't too far off.

No.. as a half of fish, mermaid will not have knee, the tail should be very flexible and has many many segment bone like a flipper or ather fish. The flexible tail will produce strong thrust power for fast diving, and cut the water with ease. In the video there are still knee bone, only two segment tail bone for leak thrust, and the video speed also accelerated.
