My geekiest and most popular video, no doubt because the choreography is so elegant.

Though Galileo Galilei
Knew what the Church would likely say
He shared his findings anyway
Rome was left in disarray

But Galileo might have been absolved
If he'd lied and said the sun revolved
Round the earth, knowing surely it certainly does not
Ptolemaic rot
Then he might have been forgot
Refusing to abandon his research,
He was charged with crimes against the church
The bishop placed him under house arrest
For the sins that he confessed

So Galileo Galilei
Went home in chains, to great dismay
There he was condemned to stay
Every day 'til his dying day

You're wanted by the Almighty Lord
Dead or alive, cash reward
You're running from an angry horde
Save thyself and drop thy sword

Say, "I'll believe whatever you demand
My ideas are really not so grand
As compared to the vapid mumblings of the blind
Assimilate my mind
Let's put this dispute behind us
Please accept this gesture of defeat
Part of life is knowing when you're beat
The cost of truth is prohibitively high
Say your prayers and don't ask why."

Galileo Galilei
Suffered for rules he'd not betray
But that's the price you have to pay
To allay your righteous vertebrae
