Winner at the New York Jazz Film Festival for 2016. Legendary Motown singer Chris Clark sings an original song, written especially for her by John Thomas Bullock and R. Christian Anderson, from the motion picture "When the World Came to San Francisco." The scenes show the aftermath of the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and Fire. Much of the imagery from the weeks following the disaster taken on Market Street, the main thoroughfare of the city then, as it is now. The great John R. Burr is featured on keyboards with Kendrick Freeman on drums. Jan Martinelli was the arranger and performed on bass. Kenny Evans was session engineer. Recorded in Sebastopol, California at the Mesa Recording Studio. Annie Stocking was the recording producer.
