Glenn A. Hirsch, M.D., M.H.S., FACC, Associate Professor of Medicine and Director, Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Program at The University of Louisville, presented the 2013 Nancy Middleton Smith Lecture "Evolving Strategies in Evaluation and Management of Mitral Regurgitation" on Feb. 28, 2013.
The talk focused on describing the importance of defining mitral regurgitation severity, identifying key factors in determining timing of surgical therapy for mitral regurgitation, and listing the most recent advances in the therapeutic approach to mitral regurgitation.
