At the end of the month of April, our very own Almond traveled to the Thai-Chinese International School Chinese Speaking Competition. While representing GIS Almond held her own against students who have studied for years, and two students who were born and raised in China! All of the students did an amazing job, and it was a very fierce competition. But our Almond did not disappoint with her skill and abilities. She took home 3rd place and a beautiful trophy for all of her hard work. We're very proud of Almond's amazing work at the competition, and look forward to even more amazing work next year. We already have several students who were inspired by her achievement, and have vowed to replicate it next year. If you see Almond in the hall, congratulate her for her well deserved prize. Way to go!
