This is a presentation I did to NYVR club in February 2016 (Microsoft NYC).
The first 8.5 min are about Motion simulation in VR in general: why motion simulation is important in VR, what types of motion simulators there are and how motion simulators work (with a focus on seated simulation).
In the second part I talk about my project of building 2DOF motion simulator, which moves the entire cockpit (wheel & pedals included).
At the end I cover major challenges and opportunities related to motion simulation in VR.
