This is a laser disk rip of the long out of print "20 Twisted Questions". This was divided into two sections, one for the videos and another for the performances. This half is the videos.

QUESTIONS (1992, Voyager, $49.95) Since 1972, San Francisco's the Residents have been to rock & roll what David Lynch is to TV: Dada pranksters in a pop medium. Whether deconstructing Wilson Pickett's ''Land of 1,000 Dances'' while wearing KKK robes made of newspapers or creating a chaotic rock trilogy (in four parts) narrated by a pre-Teller Penn Gillette, the anonymous Residents have never failed to baffle, tantalize, annoy, and delight. Because their career is so conceptually sprawling, though, this hour-long laserdisc overview can't help but skip along the surface. All the group's videos are here, including a supremely weird take on James Brown's ''It's a Man's, Man's, Man's World'' (did MTV really air this?), but brief in-concert sequences are over before you're oriented (or suitably disoriented). Sounds strategic.
