On June 2, EPA proposed the first ever national standards for reducing carbon pollution from existing power plants. Carbon pollution is the main contributor to climate disruption, fueling super storms, floods, wildfires, and record drought. We can't afford to wait any longer to act as extreme events like these cost Americans hundreds of lives and hundreds of billions of dollars.

By establishing strong and just carbon pollution protections, the United States can move to clean up and modernize the way we power our country. These protections will ensure that our kids, all communities and America's workforce are healthier, while also creating much-needed jobs and fighting climate disruption.
