"Bad Luck" is the third song in the Adams Wilson "postcards" project, where each month we will write, record, and post a new song.

Annette brought this song to the band, and Matt and Adams helped shape it into this form. Bob added some drums, and we recruited Philly musician Andrea Weber on cello.

Subscribe to our YouTube channel to get access to next month's song. You can also check out our website and facebook page for shows and other news.

Lyrics:
Verse
I once went to see a canyon out west
stood on the edge of the sky
It dawned on me, I won't go nowhere again
if it meant we'd be saying goodbye

Prechorus
We're not always easy
But I know it's right
'Cus I always laugh more than I cry
Just keep on loving me
I'll keep loving you

Chorus
Bad luck can't find me
As long as you're mine

Verse
I hear that God plays in the lights of the north
a love song he sings to mankind
I put all I got in this song here for you
Let me hang all the stars in your night

Prechorus
Say you'll forgive me
For coming up short
See God had a little more time
Just keep on loving me
I'll keep loving you

Chorus
Bad luck can't find me
Long as you're mine
